Installing CH340 Driver
The CH340 is a USB to serial chip widely used in many electronic devices including the Integrated Lab Companian. To use ILC, you’ll need to install the appropriate drivers. This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing the CH340 drivers on your computer.
Downloading the Drivers
First, you need to download the CH340 drivers. You can download the drivers from the official website of WCH: CH340 Drivers Download.
Click on the link to download the CH341SER.ZIP file.
Installing the Drivers
Follow the steps below to install the CH340 drivers on your computer (Windows Only):

Extract the ZIP File:
- Locate the downloaded CH341SER.ZIP file and extract its contents to a folder on your computer.

Run the Setup:
- Navigate to the folder where you extracted the CH341SER.ZIP file.
- Run setup.exe to start the installation process.
- Click Uninstall
- Click Install

Verify the Driver Installation:
- After installing the CH340 drivers, you can verify the installation by checking the device status in the Device Manager.
- Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Look for the Ports (COM & LPT) section.
- You should see a device named USB-SERIAL CH340 or something similar.
- After installing the CH340 drivers, you can verify the installation by checking the device status in the Device Manager.
